Ajay Chacko, 36 years, is Director, TV18 Media.He has been responsible for new products and revenue lines on CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz. Through his leadership of the brand and programming strategy for the channels, Ajay has been instrumental in their ascendance as market leading media brands in the country. Ajay also leads the group’s efforts in the business media domain apart from managing the day-to-day operations and P&L of TV18 properties. Prior to joining the group, Ajay has worked in financial services and media for over a decade. His earlier stints were with IL&FS (Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services, India) and he has also been part of the start up team at Sharekhan. He started his career in the Indian Express Group where he worked in different capacities.
Ajay is a Management Graduate from the Dept. of Management Studies, University of Pune. He also has a post management qualification from IIM Bangalore.

Anil Fernandes, 39 years, is the Senior Vice President - Legal & Corporate Affairs for Network 18, where he lead manages all transactional, litigation and corporate affairs. Anil’s role entails working closely with multi disciplined professionals and attorneys across different geographies to offer strategic legal advice to the various business verticals in the Group.
Anil previously headed the legal and compliance function at Entertainment Network (India) Limited [Times of India Group], where he was involved with radio, events, out of home media and filmed entertainment businesses. Prior to ENIL, he was also employed with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (‘Taj’), a premiere TATA Group Company. Anil has substantial experience in dealing with varied industries such as media, entertainment, hospitality, steel, etc. He has a vast knowledge domain in the field of litigation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate fund raising/ structuring etc., regulatory affairs and cross border transactions.
Anil is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India; holds a bachelors degree in law and a master's degree in financial management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He is often invited to speak by various professional bodies, at legal summits, seminars etc. whereat he is constantly raising the legal awareness on a range of subjects.

Anil Srivastava, 53 years, is the Senior Vice President - Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary of the Network 18 Group. He has extensive experience in handling public issues, corporate laws, legal, finance, foreign exchange, Trade mark, Information & Broadcasting matters in career spanning over 26 years in organizations such as Kitply Industries (1984 - 1991), Lifeline Injects (1991 - 1993), Phoenix Group (1993 - 1998).
At Network 18 he has been instrumental in raising of funds through Public, Rights Issues as well as debt funding. He played an active role in the restructuring of the Group and has handled a number of due diligence processes for the group companies. As a senior management person in Network 18, he is responsible for managing the public issues & secretarial matters, finance, strategy related matters including Intellectual Property related matters across the Group apart from dealing with Information & Broadcasting Ministry. He manages the affairs of 3 Indian Listed companies and a large number of closely held companies including foreign companies.
He is an alumnus of University of Delhi (graduating batch of 1976), Post Graduate in Commerce and a Fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a law graduate.

Dilip Venkatraman, 43 years, is the Chief Marketing Officer of CNN-IBN, IBN7 & IBN-Lokmat and the Chief Operating Officer of IBN Focus. Dilip is responsible for all marketing operations for all existing and upcoming IBN channels & managing the overall operations of IBN Focus the alternative media solutions unit that develops context for brands through customized content, using a 360 degrees approach. He is also responsible for all brand communication for our corporate brand. Dilip has over 19 years of corporate experience, of which 3 years were in the US. Prior to joining ibn18 Broadcast Ltd. (formerly GBN), he held key positions at India Today and the Zee Network. He was the Head of Brand Management at Zee News and the President of Marketing for Dish TV. He also spent over a year as the CEO of Pugmarks, a technology company. The CNN-IBN Indian of the Year, Real Heroes, IBN7 Diamond States Awards, Citizen Journalist Awards and IBN7 Super Idols are some of the awards conceived by him. He has to his credit the introduction of the first sms short code in Indian Television on a nationwide basis. He is also the man behind the Zee News LED News tickers that won him the coveted 'Indian Marketing Award'.
He is a Graduate in Public Administration, and has completed his management Programme from IIM Bangalore, and the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, Boston.

Piyush Goyal, 34 years, is President- Network Development & Distribution. He heads the Distribution arm of Network18 group, Setpro18 Distribution Limited. Piyush has been closely associated with the Media Industry since 2001. He has considerable and varied experience and expertise in planning, implementation and execution of distribution and placement strategies on various platforms. He had earlier proven his credentials by successful launch of NDTV’s 3 news channels during his stint at NDTV. Currently, at Setpro18, he leads a team of 50 professionals, handling distribution of many news and non-news channels in the challenging environment. He is credited with grand launch of CNN-IBN, which grew to attain the number one position within a span of 6 weeks since its launch.
He holds a B. Tech. and a Masters in Business Administration from Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

Piyush Gupta

Piyush Gupta, 38 years, is the Operations Director and CTO-Broadcast at Network 18. He is responsible for setting up the work processes and technology within the group. Prior to this role he led various projects for Network 18 including designing of studios and setting up various facilities at Mumbai and NOIDA. Starting with launch of CNBC TV18, India’s first business news channel, all TV channels under the umbrella of Network 18 were setup and launched under his leadership which include but not limited to CNBC Awaaz, CNN IBN, Home Shop 18 and Colors. He also maneuvered the migration of broadcast operations of Viacom channels viz MTV, Nick and vh1 from Singapore to India after yet another successful takeover of IBN7 (earlier part of Jagran Group).
He comes with rich experience of more than 15 years in the field of broadcast operations. He has been responsible for scaling up as well as setting up new verticals in Operations within the group. Starting with a small team consisting of 20-25 people in late 90s now he leads indisputably the best team having strength of 250+ professionals spread across the network. He joined Network18 in 1996 as Broadcast Engineer and has worked here since then apart from a short stint with NDTV.
He is a Graduate in Electronics from Delhi University and a member of EMPC (Electronic Media Production Centre) committee at IGNOU.

Piyush Jain, 37 years, is the Chief Operating Officer at IBN7. Prior to joining IBN7, he was with Network18 & was responsible for Corporate Development & HR. He was with the TV18 Group for 8 years before moving to IBN7. At JTV, he has been responsible for the launch of the 24-hour National Hindi Channel, Channel7 which was later branded as IBN7. Currently, he is looking after the overall operations of the channel. The channel has grown phenomenally in the last few years of its operations and is now poised to be a leading news channel in the Hindi language space.
He is an Electronics Engineer and a Post Graduate in Business Management with specialization in Marketing & IT.

Rajnath Kamath, 51 years, is an expert in media sales and marketing & has been the guiding light to the Network18 Media sales team and the wisdom behind a lot of our efforts. Raj is responsible for exploring and exploiting ad sales synergies across group media properties apart from bringing his expertise to specialist functions across group media asset portfolio.
Raj has over 24 years of experience in functions ranging from product management, advertising, sales promotions, sales training and research. Prior to joining ibn18, he was the Vice President and National Sales Head at NDTV. He helped NDTV attain the fastest revenue growth in the industry within a span of two years. Before that, he spent over 10 years at Star India assuming various roles and responsibilities besides setting up the Star TV operations in South and subsequently taking up National leadership role based in Mumbai across their Television portfolio for all the existing brands in their portfolio then .His area of challenge and achievement was to make the bouquet of Niche channels into mainstream Channel of choice, involving lot of concept selling . He also has over 10 years of invaluable experience (media planning , account planning and strategic planning ) with top media and advertising agencies such as Lintas,Clarion, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT and Leo Burnett where he was the Group Head for Media Planning and rose to be Media Planning Director.
He is a Post Graduate in Management Studies from Bombay University.

Sanjay Dua, 42 years, has over 20 years of corporate experience of which the last 15 years have been in the media industry. Prior to joining ibn18 Broadcast Ltd. (formerly GBN), he was heading all India sales for Zee News and Zee Business. He has also worked with Bennett Coleman and Walt Disney where he was in charge of sales across their various channels in India. Along with Anil Uniyal, Sanjay is the leadership face of our client facing Sales Organization, Network 18 Media Network. Sanjay's specific responsibilities include identifying and capitalizing on sales growth opportunities for the IBN Network.Having handled Ad sales for brands like ESPN, HALLMARK, Sahara with his stint at Walt Disney, Sanjay has a keen understanding of the television ad sales business across various genres.
Sanjay is a Hotel Management Graduate from Lucknow University and has undergone various executive training programs, the most recent one being from Mudra Institute Of Communications in Ahmedabad.

Sanjay Sharma, 39 Years, is the Director Operations of Network 18 and COO of Ibnlokmat, The regional news channel of IBN18 and Lokmat. Sanjay had worked with NVL (NVL was the first company to provide technical support and guidance in the broadcast arena in India) for first 4 years of his career. He joined Network18 in 1994 and has been involved in each and every project which Network18 group has done in last 15 years. Sanjay is responsible for all the technical and operational related matters of the broadcast, Web and Print businesses in the group. He is also responsible for the business aspect of Ibnlokmat channel.

Lakshmi Narasimhan, 42 years, is Chief Executive Officer of Web18. Prior to this he was CEO for the Magazine Publishing business at Infomedia18. He started off his career with HTA (now re-christened J.Walter Thompson) as a Media Planner. He was part of the team which started up HTA Fulcrum, the AOR for Unilever in Indi a in 1995. Post his stint with Madison as head of the Coca Cola AOR, he returned to HTA in late-2000 as head of buying on the Unilever business. Prior to joining Network18, Lakshmi was a national director of the central trading group with Group M (the media arm of WPP). In this capacity, he was heading a team that was buying about Rs 2500 crores of TV media and was instrumental in large measure in 'streamling' the media buying process for the agency.
He is a graduate from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.
